EfficienSea was an EU flagship project, which sought to utilize navigation to improve maritime safety and the state of the environment in the Baltic Sea region. The project aimed to transform the Baltic Sea into a pioneer of electronic navigation.
Funding
The project was awarded a record 8 million euros from the EU’s Baltic Sea Region Programme, constituting the latter’s biggest project.
