The project designed the building for the oil spill response training centre and its construction schedule. The purpose of the centre was improve oil spill response know-how in Russia, and create new opportunities for cooperation between Finland and Russia. The project also conducted a preliminary study regarding the establishment of an oil spill response centre in St Petersburg.
